Darwin has spent the last 15 years scoping and delivering digital services for clients in the public and third sectors in including the The Department of Health, the National Trust, the European Commission and Greenpeace.
He's a highly experienced and ScrumMaster and Product Owner and loves working with teams to help them adopt Agile and user centred methods.
He recently led on the Alpha for the Department of Health's Healthy Start service which passed its GDS service assessment first time.
As co-founder of Pilot Works Darwin leads on delivery management and operations.

Dave Ellender

Dave is a researcher with over 17 years experience, working across sectors for clients like the Department of Transport, the Met Office, Great Ormond Street Hospital and the National Trust.
He is a master interviewer, known for his ability to put participants at ease and has worked with users of all ages, including vulnerable adults over 80 years old and disadvantaged children.
He is also a co-founder the popular UXBristol conference and a published academic who speaks regularly at UX and technology conferences.
Jesmond Allen

Jesmond has more than 20 years experience as a design leader and UX specialist - helping clients shape their digital strategy and build design teams.
Previously, she was Head of UX at Bristol consultancy cxpartners. Jesmond is co-author of the practical UX manual, Smashing UX: foundations for designing online user experiences. She has a passion for evidence-based design and loves the innovation and excellence that putting people at the heart of the design process produces.
Stuart Church

Stuart is a highly experienced UX consultant and educator.
He's worked with clients such as Forest Holidays, Sky, Pukka Herbs, Microsoft, Jisc and the University of Bristol.
He has taught user-centred design at Birkbeck, University of London, and is a visiting consultant at the University of Bristol.
And in his spare time he runs the Bristol Usability Group and co-curates the popular UXBristol conference.

Will is a highly versatile experience designer and researcher with over a decade's experience of helping not-for-profits, charities and government bodies put user needs at the heart of their services.

Nik has spent around 20 years helping large and small organisations deliver digital products more effectively.
Of the more well-known organisations he has worked with, Nik spent 8 years leading the development team at The Guardian, has been interim CTO at Time Out, and has worked with management and delivery operations at BMJ, Travis Perkins, and the Office for National Statistics.

Steve is a consulting tech lead and Django/Python expert. He brings more than a decade of software engineering experience that includes building robust web applications and leading technical teams.
Previous client projects include private-sector and public-sector startups, webapps for NGOs and campaign sites for charities. He is a specialist in taking ideas from conception through MVP to launch and beyond.
